![]() It's still a struggle around 1530 but my allies are keeping me alive while Lithuania, Poland, Brandenberg and a huge Denmark keep declaring on me. Well this is what I've found to work so far. If Ausria wont follow you to war it wont go well. Livonian order is up to you but Denmark wants Osel so you ll be draw into that conflict pretty quick.ģ, Dont be aggressive against Poland alone. Austra hates them and they dont have the manpower to help you anyway.Ģ. Austria helps you fight them off quite well.ġ, Do not ally with Hungary ever. This should give you a foothold to hold of the Poland/Lithuania onslaught. Rival Mecklenberg (easy insult missions get you military rewards) Keep Austria as an ally until you go Prodestant. ![]() I went offensive, but I should have went defensive I suppose.ġ0. Your smaller numbers can hold them off in the first 60 yrs. Concentrate in Military tech (not ideas) and stay well ahead of rivals. Begin to improve relations with Muscovy and Crimea as well. Force vassilize, eventually annexing them.ħ. You'll get unlawful territory, but Austria didnt press it after initial request. Declare war vs Pommerania, take province. Take mission or fabricate claim to get Hinterpommen (province right next to Danzig.)Ħ. After several tries, I have found a pretty good solution:Ģ, Sell Neumark to Brandenberg, (to avoid any conflict with Austria) Brandenberg WILL attack it early.ģ, Improve relations with Austria, even selecting Austria's rivals as your own to get your relations up to 175+ Ally with them is a must and Brandenberg if possible.ĥ. TO has always been one of my favorite countries, In EU4 surviving the Polish onslaught is near impossible.
